EXPERIENCE ADVENTURE TOURISM

It is not over until you go for adventure tourism. This kind of tourism involves exploring remote areas. Getting to see the rural people, experience their traditions and culture. It is also advisable to carry translator. For translation of the language, this type of tourist is experience competition from the other tourism industry.
Some times back the students from Liverpool university came to Kenya for their field study. They desided to go to western province Butere Mumias district. The main crop that is planted in Butere is sugarcane. Beside the hardworking of the people in that area they also had their traditions which makes thing interesting.
Luhya is the major tribe in butere mumias now luhya is divided int o small tribes i.e.marama, wanga , bukusu ,kisa, tachoni, thsothso, abatiriki, isukha, abhetakho and abhasamia. their tradition is amaizing like for example when you do poultry farming first you put a broom on the entrance of house so that all your chickens when they go out to graze they can easily find their home. For doves you trim the feathers to an extend they can not fly, when they grow the doves will have already adopted the place and consider it as their home.
For circumcision they don’t believe in being circumcised in hospital. if you do you cant eat with the reset of the guys on one table. They believe in being curcumsided by the village elders. They have the songs that they sing during the ceremonies. There is a special knife that they use for the process and the same knife will curcumsised every one that is willing to be curcumsised. Don’t tell me about the infection of diseases because I have never had them getting sick. You are supposed to experience the pain, pain killers are not allowed. They have their own herbal treatment. This is just a pinch of what you can get or what the student experienced. With Adventure tourism you will find yourself enjoying the experience and more educated
