Masai Mara national park is one of Kenya biggest park in Kenya. The word Masai is one of the tribe here in Kenya which still up to date they still follow their traditions and culture and when we represent Kenya as a tourist we try to portray their culture and that’s why Kenyan attire is for the Masai traditions.
Masai national park being one of the most famous parks consists of the GREAT FIVE (Leopard, Buffalo, Lions, Elephant, and Rhinoceros) we also have varieties of plains game.
Bringing good news home we have those animals which migrate from time to time around the month of June. Those animals include wildebeests, zebras and Gazelles which come from Serengeti (Tanzania) thorough the borders to Maras grasslands (Kenya).
Since it is predicted that the migration of the wildebeest start at around the month of July it is tourist are being advised to tour the place at around end July to September, for you to see wildebeest.
The interesting river crossing really attracts the tourist. Besides the seasonal migration, you can also enjoy the game viewing which includes buffalo, black rhino, Elephant, plain zebras, and 452 species inside the river.
We advise our tourist to take precautions since the area consist of some couple of mosquito breeds which cause malaria. It is advisable to wear long sleeve clothes and also use mosquito repellant and treated mosquito nets once you are exposed to malaria seek the medical advice.
